A Solution to the Problem of Pancaking
“Pancaking” describes a situation experienced by many ostomists. It occurs when the
front and back of the plastic films that make up a pouch stick together. This prevents
waste matter entering the pouch and frequently necessitates a pouch change.
ClearWay has been specially designed to keep the plastic films that form the pouch
apart, thus avoiding pancaking. It is available in two sizes ClearWay and ClearWay Mini, the latter being slightly smaller. ClearWay is suitable for large capacity closed pouches whilst ClearWay Mini is suited to the medium and small capacity closed pouches.
